A couple weeks ago, my parents and I finally made our very first trip to Yosemite together. After 20 years of living in the Bay Area, not a single member of our family of five had made the trip to see the most magnificent valley on Earth. We figured it was about time to do so, and we were not disappointed.

At Elsie Green, we are big fans of boutique hotels. My mother has a rule that we never stay at big chain hotels, and because of it, we've found so many gems over the years. One of our favorite outdoorsy getaways is the super-chic and super-easy glamping site, AutoCamp.

Here at Elsie Green, we’re suckers for a good glass of wine. But when coupled with beautiful scenery, delicious food, and good atmosphere, we’re in love. Scribe Winery in Sonoma is a favorite amongst the team here, and many of us have even joined their members club.
