Of course you're going to have a closet full of bathroom cleaner, furniture polish, and refills for your swiffer.  But we think every girl (or boy) should have a kit in the linen closet with all the basics necessary to keep the house looking pretty or to make a small repair on the fly.

Start Your Design Book Collection

If you've had the chance to step into Laurie's impeccably designed office at Elsie Green, you most likely stopped to admire the stunning reclaimed wood cabinet that is filled with her covetable collection of design, interior, travel, and art books. We love these books as sources of inspiration but also think they're beautiful for styling.

Check In | Hotel Beds at Home

We have a rule when we're traveling: no chain hotels allowed. We always skip the chains that we see in every city in favor of a chic local spot. We feel that it gives us a better sense for the city we're visiting, and the carefully curated decor always leaves us feeling inspired. And for us, one of the highlights of traveling is always the cozy, luxurious bedding in hotels.
