At Elsie Green, we are big fans of boutique hotels. My mother has a rule that we never stay at big chain hotels, and because of it, we've found so many gems over the years. One of our favorite outdoorsy getaways is the super-chic and super-easy glamping site, AutoCamp.

My family and I have stayed at three of AutoCamp's sites around the country: Russian River, Cape Cod (which you can read about here on the blog), and most recently, Yosemite. Each time, we have been so impressed with the excellent service and well-styled accomodations.

Yosemite was a particular favorite of ours, because their air-conditioned clubhouse and bar by the pool proved to be the best remedy for a long, sweaty day of hiking in the park. As always, I took my film camera along to document.
