Meet the Team | Anna
Meet Anna, our Manager of Retail Operations and newest team member. She keeps the shops looking pretty, packs orders, and takes some of the pretty shop images you see on social media. She's a newlywed, food lover, traveler and new East Bay home owner. Read on to get to know her better and stop by the Concord shop to say hi.
Meet the Team
What makes Elsie Green special is our people. We've got a few former corporate executives, a floral designer, a former interior designer, a vintage collector, a teacher and a high school senior. But we're all shopkeepers at heart, manning the packing table, giving our signature brand of extraordinarily personal service in the shop, traveling the French countryside looking for pretty things, and playing with the merchandise all day.
Meet The Team | Andie
Meet our operations assistant, Andie. She is a bright ray of light in the shop and our go-to gal for book recommendations and reviews. Prior to joining us at Elsie Green Andie was living and teaching in Lyon, France.
Meet the Team | Laurie
Meet Laurie, our Founder and Creative Director. Laurie spent many years as a corporate executive, but much prefers working on the shop displays, editing photos, and shopping the French countryside for treasures.
Meet The Team | Michele
Meet Michele, our Operations Manager who keeps the packing table humming, helps with design projects, and lends her impeccable taste to displays in the shop. Michele always has a book recommendation ready, and shares the Elsie Green team's quirky taste in music.
Water Babies
m not big on fortune tellers, and quite frankly I am afraid of Tarot Cards. But I do believe strongly in the personality types defined by astrological signs. I'm an Aquarius. My grandma was an Aquarius. My brother-in-law, my nephew and my niece are Aquarians. I share my birthday with Darren Criss and Cristiano Ronaldo. I like to think we all have some things in common.
Girl Power
When we retired from our corporate jobs and started Elsie Green, JP and I envisioned a second act that would allow us to travel the world, spend our days together, be home for dinner with our family every night. Mission accomplished, for the most part. There have been many twists and turns in the road these last six years, but JP and I are living a quality of life that has less to do with money and more to do with experiences, relationships, and time well spent.
