san francisco ferry building

We love a field trip, especially one that involves food.

We headed to the San Francisco Ferry Building, shopping bags and cameras in hand, in search of fresh seasonal ingredients for our thanksgiving menu. We found figs, beets, carrots, squash, kale, brussels sprouts on their stalks and pears to design our menu around.

And of course, we found beautiful freshly baked bread, Strauss cream to blend in to butter, and freshly pressed olive oil for our roasted vegetables.
