If you know Elsie Green, you know that we really only traffic in two patterns:  block prints and stripes.  Our love of block prints goes way back to our first trip to India more than 20 years ago where we saw the blocks hand carved and the fabrics hand printed by artisans who passed their techniques down through generations.

While we've always admired the patterns, it was the artistry that won our hearts when we saw artisans printing the beautiful patterns layer by layer and yards of the finished fabric drying in the fields.
