I used to think traditions were chains.  Something imposed on the family to keep our milestones locked in someone else's vision.     But as I have grown older (maybe wiser?) and my life changes, I have realized that traditions are not chains, but threads that tie us together with our loved ones.

When we're planning a trip, there are a few people we turn to for their recommendations.  One is our friend Jessica Wright, Curator of  Bon Traveler.  Jessica  is one part northern California two parts abroad, spending the majority of the year in foreign lands, curating travel guides for the design-focused traveler.

Griffin Wilson, also known as @cabincorn, is a special type of chef.  He's intimately acquainted with his ingredients and writes poetic odes to the mushroom and the radish.
