There was nothing I wished for more when I was young, than the need to wear a school uniform. Alas, I went to a progressive public school and was able to have a wardrobe of my choosing. No matter, I often chose items that would classify as part of a uniform. My formula was: tartan skirt + Dr Martins + collegiate top. Rinse and repeat. Perhaps it was my obsessive love of England, '90's Britpop, and the movie Clueless. I was coming of age in the '90's after all.

I have been watching fashion cycle through many of the eras I have already lived through, and the only one I am repeating and coveting still is collegiate dressing. My love of tartan, deep rich burgundy and British racing green, band tees and my beloved docs have all re-entered the chat, and I am here for it. If I'm honest, they never actually left my wardrobe.
