I'm always a little melancholy when the end of summer comes. Summer is my favorite season, and if I had it my way, I'd be sitting by the ocean and swimming all year long, but alas. But alas, that is not my reality. The end-of-summer blues have hit me hard this year, but I'm trying to shake them off.

This year is my second autumn in New York City, and I have decided to put summer to rest and fully embrace it. I've taken my sweaters down off my top shelf, put my extra blanket back on my bed, and am leaning into long, leafy walks in the park.

As I write this, I am curled up on my couch under a blanket with a honeycrisp apple candle burning and You've Got Mail (a Furber family classic) playing. And to share the love, I've compiled my list of must-watch autumnal films. This is your cue to banish the summer daydreams and usher in the fall with open arms.
