Michele has impeccable taste. Literally. She always orders well in restaurants, and is our go-to source for cocktail recommendations. When we're all ordering dessert, Michele will simply say "I think I'll have Amari," and suddenly we're all scrambling to change our orders.

For summer this year, Michele likes the Spicy Mezcal Margarita for a cool, vacation-y vibe. Even if you're just sipping in your own garden.
2 Jalapeño slices seeds removed
Ice
1.5 oz Mezcal
1.5 oz Triple Sec or other orange liqueur
1 oz lime juice
2 teaspoons Agave nectar
Course salt
Lime wheels and additional Jalapeño slices for garnish
Rub a lime wedge around the rim of a bar glass, then coat with coarse salt. Fill the glass with ice and set aside for now.
In a cocktail shaker, muddle the Jalapeño slices, then add ice, mezcal, triple sec, lime juice and agave nectar.
Shake until frost starts to form on the shaker.
Pour into the glass through a strainer and garnish with a lime slice and a jalapeño slice.
