Three Finds

·

The heat wave in the Bay Area has been in full swing this week & we are sort of wishing for some fall weather around here! (yes, we said it). In the meantime, we're hibernating in our air conditioned office & sipping our large iced coffees, while we finish up our work from the week.

We always love sharing what we're currently inspired by, so here are three finds from the week that we think you'll love. Enjoy!

This interview of Sarah Hammer by A Piece Apart is refreshing & the perfect Friday read. Plus her and her home are so tres chic. Have a read here.

Article by Julie Carlson for Remodelista

This Parisian restaurant was designed by a Tokyo design firm for Japanese born Chef Taku Sekine and Restauranter Amaury Guyot. Isn't it gorgeous? When creating this space they discovered the layers of history as they uncovered the walls. They decided to leave them exposed and kept the rest of the space very minimal. We hope to dine here one day...

Photo by Eric Wolfinger for Tartine Bread

Tartine - a bakery and restaurant that us Bay Area folks know very well. But do you know the story of Chad Robertson & how he created his famous country style bread? We recently bought his book, Tartine Bread & learned about it all. It's beyond inspiring & gives us a whole new appreciation for the restaurant and bread making itself. Don't have the book? Watch this short video for a little visual snippet.

 That's all for now!
