Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays. I'm not into scary things, but I do love costumes, and I've had some really good ones over the years. As soon as the air gets crisp, I'm reminded of Halloweens from my school days. Going to school in the costume my grandma spent all year making for me, chowing down on candy at the class party, and my mom making us "mummy dogs" before trick or treating.
For this month's Shop Gal Guide, I asked our shopgirls what their favorite fall or Halloween tradition is. Keep reading to hear what they had to say.

Andie
"I visit Storm King with my friends every fall. It's the most gorgeous place to wander around and see some leaves, and it's only an hour and a half from New York City."
Laurie
"I love visiting my daughter Andie out east in New York and roadtripping to see the fall foliage. There's really nothing like it."
Sepi
"Walking Belvedere street in SF to see everyone’s amazing costumes and then a cocktail on Cole Street in our neighborhood."

Sarah
"Carving pumpkins and roasting the seeds."

Anna
"Baking pumpkin chocolate chip cookies."
Kate
"Making homemade chili and stressing the hell out over Niners and Warriors games. A Fall favorite."
Paulina
"I have a deep appreciation for the pumpkin bread from Trader Joe's. It's easy to make, delicious, and the kind of thing you have on the stove all of October with a knife in the pan."
Kelsey
"Making pumpkin scones and hanging up our Harry Potter candles with my son on a cozy night by the fire. Also being incredibly picky about my pumpkins and spending all month curating the perfect collection."
