Product Photographer (Freelance, In-Person)

Freelance 9am - 4pm weekdays as scheduled

Elsie Green is seeking a thoughtful and detail-oriented Product Photographer to join our team and photograph our vintage collection.

This is an in-person role based at our warehouse in Concord, California. We are looking for someone local who can work a 9am - 4pm shooting day as scheduled.  

About the Role

Our vintage pieces are one-of-a-kind — each with its own character, patina, and story. The photographer will be responsible for capturing furniture and decor in a way that feels soulful, editorial, and true to the piece.

This is not a traditional studio environment with extensive lighting rigs and complex production setups. We photograph in our warehouse using natural light and a simple, considered approach. We care deeply about composition, texture, and mood — more than overly polished perfection.

Responsibilities

• Photograph vintage furniture and decor for e-commerce
  

• Capture detail shots that highlight texture and craftsmanship
  

• Maintain consistency in lighting and visual tone
  

• Collaborate with the creative team on styling and shot direction
  

• Organize and deliver edited images 
  

• Assist with light movement of pieces as needed
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of photography fundamentals (composition, exposure, light)
  

• Comfortable shooting in natural light environments
  

• Experience with DSLR.
  

• Proficiency in basic photo editing (Lightroom or similar)
  

• Strong attention to detail
  

• Ability to work independently and efficiently
  

• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
  
  

Formal studio experience is not required. We are open to emerging photographers with a strong eye and a thoughtful portfolio.
