RhodaCeram Stoneware Collection
Rhoda Ceram refers to a body of vintage French stoneware produced in the mid-20th century, admired for its rustic elegance and enduring craftsmanship. Pieces marked Rhoda, Rhoda Ceram, or Rhodaceram are typically made from grès (stoneware) and feature earthy glazes, simple silhouettes, and a distinctly utilitarian beauty rooted in French provincial tradition.
The name is widely believed to be associated with Rhodaceram, a ceramics manufacturer founded in 1957 in Saint-Uze, in France’s Rhône-Alpes region. Active through the 1960s and 1970s, the workshop produced functional tableware and decorative objects that balanced everyday use with understated design. Production ceased in the late 1980s, making surviving pieces sought after today.
Rhoda Ceram stoneware is prized for its honest materials, warm patina, and timeless forms—objects made to be used, lived with, and appreciated for generations.
