Hi guys!  Meet Amanda.  You might know her as former New York Times writer, author, co-founder of Food52, or editor of Homeward, an exploration of buying and renovating a home 3,000 miles away.

We know her as our cool friend with great taste who's always got something enviable and fun in the works.  We gave Amanda a peek into our latest container and she gave us her edit of her favorite things.  No surprise, Amanda's edit is chic, earthy, and stylish just like she is.  She gravitates toward simple, but dramatic silhouettes - think mid-century buffet with drawers and pull-out bread boards.  She likes the classics - porcelain tart molds and lovely vintage pastry cutters.  And she likes a touch of modern, but only if it's hand made like our vintage stoneware.  They all come together beautifully in her imagination.

Have a look for yourself at Amanda's favorite things.  And keep one eye on Homeward to see how she'll use some of them for inspiration.

In Homeward Amanda and her husband Tad document their renovation of an Ojai home they bought sight unseen and are renovating from their home base in New York.  It's a great story.
