No one loves a summer beach read more than I do. My constant reading vibe is "light and fluffy," and my room is filled with piles of colorful, romantic books. I like to think of the "summer beach read" as more of a lifestyle than a season-specific choice. Allow me to introduce you to The Pink Book.

Last year, while I was traveling in Europe with my family, I packed several fun beach reads. After devouring a couple by the beach with an Aperol Spritz, I noticed a fun theme. They all had pink covers.

Since then, I've turned "pink books" into a concept, rather than a more literal definition. A book doesn't have to have a pink cover to fall into this category. It just has to feature some lovable characters, light drama, and preferably be set in a coastal town or feature a harvest festival of some kind. A pink cover is just a bonus.

So allow me to present to you a list of all my favorite pink books. Some have pink covers, some don't. But they're all best paired with sunscreen, an ice cream cone, and a cocktail by the sea.
