Good taste isn't something you can teach — but you can surround yourself with people who have it in abundance. These are the stylists whose homes we want to sit in, whose shelves we'd study for hours. We asked them each to pick their favorites from our collection, and then we got out of the way.

If you've lingered over a room in Architectural Digest and wondered how it felt so perfectly, quietly right — there's a good chance Yedda Morisson was behind it. The San Francisco-based interior stylist has collaborated with some of the most respected designers working today, and her instincts are exactly the kind we trust.

We asked her to choose a few of her favorite things in the shop right now — and then tried very hard not to buy everything she picked.

Antique Shop Counter

"I love the history and functionality of this piece. I would put it in my studio for packing and wrapping and it could double as a bar for events and parties."

"Small vintage glasses make any beverage special. I'm trying to cut back on alcohol, and serving an NA cocktail in one of these would make it much more alluring. A cube of ice and a sprig of something fresh and I might not even notice."

"More and more editors and magazines are looking for the human hand in things, the slightly off or irregular. I would style these vintage, mismatched candlesticks on a mantle, by the tub or on a long table with simple linens and beeswax candles."

Pair of Long Every Day Beeswax Tapers

"Beeswax candles are warm to the hand and have the light scent of what I imagine a bee must smell likeperched on a flower. I have them in every color but love this dark, moody option for rainy spring evenings."

Antique Brass Hotel Bell

"As a small business owner I'm constantly jumping from one task to another and wearing many hats. I like the idea of marking the shift from one area of focus to another- almost like a palate cleanser. This darling antique hotel bell would help me re-focus and clear my head, punctuating my day with its classic chime."

"As a stylist, you can never have too many vases. After shoots we always have left over flowers but rarely the energy to do much with them. This simple, functional vase is perfect for tossing in a few stray flowers- easy and satisfying."
