This early “Compound” model dates to approximately the late 1950s or early 1960s and features a beautifully textured, silver-tone case with a blank cartouche originally intended for monogramming. Silver Match became one of France's best-known lighter makers of the era, celebrated for combining clever mechanical design with an elegant, distinctly European sensibility.
