Eames DCM Chair
We found this chair in a flea market in Lyon.
While Eames chairs are typically American made, they are very popular in French homes, It is rare to find them in the vintage market in France, as families don't like to let them go. We were lucky and found three! Don't worry we'll share.
The iconic DCM (1946) began as an experiment in the Eameses’ apartment, where they were molding plywood in what they called the “Kazam! Machine.” This chair is molded perfectly to fit the human body.
