Moroccan tea is considered to be a symbol of hospitality and friendship. The tea is prepared in front of guests so the tea set can be admired. The tea sets consist of a set of small decorative glasses and a pot with long, curved spouts.  Moroccan tea glasses tend to be smaller in size, as the tea is intended to be served hot. The smaller glasses allow guests to finish their hot beverage before it cools, and are then able to re-pour from the pot that is being displayed.
