Ten Airbnbs to Add to Your Must-Visit List

As summer approaches, I am starting to sense a shift in energy; not just in myself, but in those around me, too.
Summer plans are beginning to take shape, and with the possibility of traveling in sight, I am starting to feel...hopeful. In the spirit of hopefulness and adventure, I'm here to share the ten Airbnbs that I can't wait to book for a future getaway. Some things are just too good to keep to yourself.

Desert Hideaways
This eco-friendly retreat is a minimalist design lovers dream. The pueblo-style home has been featured in Dwell and Domino Magazine.

Villa Kuro is the ideal haven for those hoping to retreat from the pace and stress of city life. The design of this tranquil space was inspired by its desert surroundings as well as the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi. The property is nestled on 3.5 acres of land and boasts the promise of unforgettable starry nights.

This newly renovated 1880s era apartment is located in the colorful Barrio Viejo neighborhood in Tucson, and while it offers all of the modern amenities one could desire, it has also retained its historic southwest charm. Whenever I make my way to Tucson, this is where I will stay.

Hacienda by The Joshua Tree House - Joshua Tree, CA
Sara and Rich Combs have created a place to recharge and reflect in the desert. The duo host three beautiful properties in Joshua Tree, but it's the pool at their Hacienda property that is truly calling my name.

A River Retreat in Oregon
Mid-Century Riverfront Cabin - Tillamook, OR
This dreamy riverside cabin has been on my must-visit list for quite some time. I come back to this listing often hoping for an opening, and while I haven't had the opportunity to book it yet, I look forward to slow days spent soaking in the serene atmosphere as the sound of the flowing river fills the air. The cabin itself is impeccably designed; I can’t wait to visit soon!

Leave it All Behind for the Island Life
Nico Hale Jungle Cottage - Kauai, HI
This Hawaiian cottage is tucked away on the North Shore of Kauai and surrounded by lush greenery all around. It is a short distance from the most beautiful beaches that the island has to offer. If serenity and seclusion are what you desire, book this airbnb.

Classic A-Frame Cabin
Modern Tahoe A-Frame - Truckee, CA
This adorable A-Frame cabin is situated on the north side of Lake Tahoe making it the ideal getaway for a winter or summer vacation. Spend the day floating down the Truckee River and then recharge in this cozy cabin.

Upstate Dreams
Willow Treehouse - Woodstock, NY
Although this list of airbnbs has been written in no particular order, I feel it is worth noting that the Willow Treehouse is at the very top of my list. This secluded and unique property looks so romantic. It is nestled among trees, overlooks a small, swimmable pond and is what all of my summer daydreams are made of.

Rivertown Guesthouse - Hudson, NY
The Rivertown Guesthouse is centrally located on a quaint street in downtown Hudson. The owners of this historic victorian have maintained many of the original 19th century details of the home and have decorated it beautifully with a mix of modern and vintage treasures. This Airbnb would be the ideal place to call home while exploring Hudson and other nearby towns in Upstate New York. For some spots to visit, see our post 36 Hours in Hudson.

History in the Garden District
Renovated 19th Century Church - New Orleans, LA
The next time a trip to New Orleans is on your mind, consider staying in this charming Airbnb that was renovated by a host who has a designers eye. I love everything about this Airbnb and think it would be the perfect place to stay when visiting New Orleans with your partner or dearest friend.
