JP’s Recipe for Buttery Croutons

|via|

Something JP hears often around the Furber house is "make the croutons!" In a blink, he whips up a batch of buttery, garlicky croutons.

1 fresh baguette sliced into 1" cubes

1/2 cup of the best butter you can find. We like Amish Roll Butter

6 garlic cloves, minced

1 bunch fresh parsley

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Sauté garlic in a touch of olive oil.  Add butter and melt.  Toss bread in a large bowl with butter and garlic mixture.  Sprinkle with fresh, chopped parsley.  Bake on a parchment lined baking sheet for 10 minutes, or until you smell the butter and garlic.  Toss the finished croutons in the same bowl after baking to catch those last bits of fresh parsley, butter and garlic.
