Dressing to the Theme | Met Gala

Anyone who knows me knows that I live for the Met Ball. Every year, I eagerly await the theme announcement, co-chair roster, and of course, the fashion. I pour myself a glass of wine, put on my comfiest loungewear, and watch the red carpet like it's the evening news.

The past two years, while we've been in lockdown, the first Monday in May was largely uneventful. This year, however, the Met Ball is making a triumphant return on September 13. That iconic red carpet will be rolled down the Met steps once again, and lucky for me, my crush Timothée Chalamet is a co-chair (along with Amanda Gorman, Billie Eilish, and Naomi Osaka). And I, for one, cannot wait.

To celebrate the many years of incredible Met fashion, I've compiled my list of my all-time favorite looks from fashion's biggest night. Bonus points for those who dressed to the theme.
