Beauty After 50

Beauty before 50 was a bit of moisturizer, a dab of whatever blush was in my drawer and a good lipstick. Beauty after 50 is a whole new ball game. It's all about hydration, exfoliation, nutrition and confidence. Through process of trial and error, I have discovered some pretty good tricks. For now anyway.
Someone told me several years ago that the best anti-aging treatment is a good toothbrush. And recently a friend recommended I up my game with an electric toothbrush. What a game changer. My teeth have never been so white. And my dental hygienist is very happy.
When I had my youngest baby, my skin went from low maintenance to a mess, and I discovered serums. My current favorite is Vintner's Daughter Active Botanical Serum. It's not cheap, but it's the only product I use before bed and when I wake up in the morning, and my skin always feels soft and hydrated.
When other things took priority, I stopped investing in pretty underwear. But now that I'm past 50, I have fallen back in love with lingerie. Perhaps it's the French influence. Or perhaps it's just the confidence that comes from knowing my ensemble is chic all the way down to my skivvies. I'm partial to Third Love and CUUP for the prettiest pieces.
