We believe that not making something new is the greenest thing of all, that a small business can make a difference, that the human touch is a powerful thing, and that working side by side with family and colleagues who have become friends is a really nice way to spend your day.

What makes Elsie Green special is our people. We've got a few former corporate executives, a few interior designers, a woodworker, a recent college graduate. But we're all collectors, enthusiastic travelers, design lovers and voracious readers. And we're all shopkeepers at heart.

Since we started Elsie Green we've always given time or money to causes that tug at our heartstrings. We believe in sharing our abundance (however small in some years) & we believe generosity will pay us back in ways that can't be measured with the usual outward signs of success.
