Simple Pleasures
"Make it simple, but significant." - Don Draper
Those words have always resonated with me. Now more than ever because I only have six days in December when all three of my children will be in the same state.
Countdown to Christmas | Advent Calendars
The advent calendar is my favorite Furber family Christmas tradition. But, we do a little differently than your usual 12 day countdown. The entire month of December, my mom leaves small presents every third day for each of us three kids. I'll start, then my brother, then my sister, and it repeats until the 24th. She leaves us little treats like nail polish, gift cards, or charitable donations, and it's the best thing to wake up to every day.

Collectors at Heart | Vintage Silver
We think the secret to creating a good collection is in not just amassing something in volume, but in collecting individual pieces you appreciate for their unique qualities. Often we'll find one of the shop girls going through each christening cup in a large bin, admiring back stamps and monograms.
