Music has held my hand through so many joyful and difficult moments in my life. It is always there for me when I need a little support, and in the last few years, I've rediscovered my love of live music.

Before, I was always very particular about what bands or artists I would see live. Crowds stressed me out, the parking situation was always too much, and it was too overwhelming for me to enjoy. However, since moving to New York City, I've discovered that pushing and shoving in a crowd isn't a universal concert experience. It can be quiet, calm, supportive, and most of all, a communal experience to take in the music.

To inspire you to rejoin the live music scene like me, I've compiled a list of unique music venues around the world. Some of these I've been to, but some are now high-priority fixtures on my bucket list. Take a scroll and make a plan.
